DID YOU KNOW?
Where our old building (276 Art studio) used to be is now a parking lot? Yup, the whole building, built in the 1920′s, was torn down. We are glad we got the opportunity to share our art there as its final year.

Did you make it to the Miami Mini Maker Faire? It was an event chock-full of small tech businesses sharing their ingenious ideas and products that are the building blocks for our Eco-tech future.
Love Steady Arts Dancers also made their appearance in the Mobile Micro Theater performing the special restaged miniaturized version of my dancework Southern Breakdown as Sobreakdown// ladymonster. Check out the photos below.

Through the daily routines, something beckons from within. Keep it together, you tell yourself, but you cannot deny the feeling. Try to understand that you are more than you think. You are more than your thoughts. With that knowing, through your daily routine, you feel a beckoning coming from within – you heed that beckon and follow the flow of curiosity – and you are led to a space in which you are faced with your essence and source – and are given the ability to transcend your “thoughts” and realize your purpose in life. You may then ask yourself, what is a daily routine?
I recently collaborated with photographer Codis Inc. for a ballet inspired beach shoot at sunset at Key Biscayne in Miami, FL. Enjoy!
Dancing in nature is a beautiful feeling! I recommend everyone take some time to be one with nature, barefoot and free to frolick about. It’s energizing and peace-providing at the same time.
Thanks for viewing!
I’d like to share this collection of recent drawings by visual artist George Hustus (@chiefdeser on IG). His interest in masks may stem from his ethnicity – his lifelong hobby of collecting handmade masks from Guatemala, where he still has family today, seems to have developed into his personal illustrative style in which the unique characters he creates become embodied mask-wearers with quirky personalities and precise form.
We (Love Steady Arts) used to also go by 276 Art Studio (Read More Here) – our former home/gallery/performance space in Wynwood Miami, FL.
While in Wynwood, we opened our gallery for every Art Walk, and what a blast we had! I directed, curated, and also danced in the Love Steady Arts “276″ Variety Shows that we had during our Art Walk gallery openings. The variety shows featured local professional performance art talent, all free to the public.
I’ll be sharing the snippets of video and flashback photos from those Art Walk shows randomly on our Facebook page, so Like it and check it frequently :). The talent is too good not to be shared!
Hello! We hope you like the new website look!
The artists have moved the studio and gallery and are now in the process of integrating the new energy and inspiration of the new location! Check out what has been happening through this tidy Instagram Roundup Version 9.
A note from Brigette…
Stay tuned to our website lovesteadyarts.com in the upcoming weeks!
As we update our technology we’ll begin to share the numerous amount of photos and video footage of multidisciplinary art at 276 Art Studio. I’ll be updating the linkability to all artist names on this website soon too.
George and I have been creating many new designs and art pieces, and there are many never-before-seen artworks from the both of us that we’ll be debuting in our online etsy shop in September 2013!
We hope you can take a moment to stop by our multidisciplinary art studio, 276 for Art Walk! It will be the last Art Walk presentation we have before we take all the art down, paint all the murals white, pack up our dance floor and mirrors, and head to a new location! This will be an Art Walk moment that you won’t want to miss :). There will be live dance and music performance of multiple genres! Our eclectic gallery selection of colorful and creative, original contemporary art, paintings and photography by Miami and International artists is the perfect breath of fresh air… catch it while you can.
